The News is: There is no news Despite the media obsession with presenting recurring
events and entertainment as defining points of history, on a daily basis,
nothing happens that is outside of two standard deviations of probability
given the forces that act on daily events. Should an event of any significance
occur, it will be analyzed here. |

Supreme Court:
With the addition of Alito the court is primed to reverse Rowe vs. Wade. When reversed, it will signal another round of spurious and contentious debate regarding privacy and the such. Eventually, it will be reinstated, probably in another twenty or so years after splitting states between abortion legal and illegal.
Illegal Immigration:
For varying and mystifying reasons, people in this country are unable to consider population and immigration with an objective eye. We certainly have enough people and there is no reason to import the least from other countries when we have an abundance of our own illiterate and underemployed. It is the decision makers in this country who have absolutely no stake in population or immigration, because they will not suffer the consequences directly. The rich in this country have segregated themselves from the salivating masses and it therefore matters little what form they take as long as the economic engine is keeping them in power. Fortunately for me, I will have expired before the full brunt of the illegal immigration tidal wave crashes upon the shore. The current economic divide will be accompanied by a language and cultural divide that will inevitable create a stratified, medieval society.
